Stepping into inamo St James feels like entering a sanctuary from the city. The restaurant has a distinctive atmosphere that uses natural elements to complement the Oriental fusion dining experience.
Juxtaposing cutting edege technology with a sense of nature and organic growth, the interior design reinforces the restauran'ts Pan-Asian offering through the materials used, including backlit green onyx, a rich red onyx for the bar surface, warm timbers and coconut wood.
Bamboo canes are used throughout to define space and provide a sense of natural tranquility - a theme that is echoed at the rear of the restaurant where there is a Japanese vertical garden incorporating stone waterfalls.
inamo St James interior design has been shortlisted in two categories of the 2011 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.
